Baking and cake decorating came as second nature after shadowing my mother in the kitchen as she filled orders for family friends. I decided to take on the challenge of baking and decorating a sun-shaped cake for a science project in the 3rd grade. And the rest was history…

Since then, I’ve taken cake-decorating classes at Wilton and Spun Sugar (Berkeley), working towards mastering the tasty art form. Baking – more so my passion than simply a hobby – is what I would like to do for the rest of my life. It allows me to express myself creatively, artistically, and with the pleasure of being able to satisfy taste buds.


During high school I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. I did take a hiatus from baking for a while to adjust to my new lifestyle. Since then, I have been working on vegan, low carb and gluten free recipes to provide customers with healthy options.

My current focus is developing a tasty line of vegan, low carb and gluten free sweets that are equally as satisfying as sugar and dairy packed pastries.
